The 1.4, 1.5 and 1.6 Ti-VCT engines with petrol injection and phase-shifting are among the most common on the Ford brand and the tuning possibilities are many. To create a more powerful torque and power curve it’s essential to work on the VCT parameters and in combination, manage the carburetion parameters with the lambda sensor, and finally the spark-advance and injection values. Increasing performance will also help to reduce fuel consumption as the results of good calibration.
